»» Polo on Snow in the Dolomites
A week-long international “Polo on snow” competition, the Cortina Winter Polo Audi Gold Cup, will be held in the surroundings of the famous Alpine resort of Cortina d’Ampezzo, Dolomites.
Six teams of national and international players compete for the 20th edition of this major international Winter Polo competition, from February 15 through 21.
The venue for the event, the frozen Lake Misurina (in Auronzo di Cadore, 15km away from Cortina d’Ampezzo) covered in snow, offers the impressive scenery of the Dolomites.
Fireworks and many other attractions to draw tourists and winter sports’ lovers are scheduled for this week.
