With its Christmas tree, The medieval town of Gubbio (Umbria), has earned a place in the Guinness Book of Records. Its the largest Christmas tree in the world.
Actually, it is not a tree, but 12 kilometres of extensive decorations illuminating all the way up the slopes of Mount Ingino.
The decorations give this mountain a shape of Christmas tree (800-metre high, 400-metre wide tree).
You can see the Gubbio Christmas Tree from December 8 through January 6.
