Despite Halloween parties in Italy are increasingly becoming popular, you can’t locate major Halloween-themed events throughout the Peninsula. We suggest a few that are taking place in Northern Italy.
Italy’s main theme park Gardaland (Lake Garda), offers a series of Halloween-themed weekends. The “Halloween at Gardaland” programme features a number of entertaining shows including “Halloween on Ice” in Gardaland Ice Ring, the “Halloween Parade”, and the “Ghost Halloween Show”.
In the surroundings of Venice, the town of Salzano hosts its annual “Festival della Zucca” — the “Pumpkin Festival”, offering also chances to taste local pumpkin-based delicacies and recipes.
Those who are visiting Milan, can enjoy of a Halloween-themed event with the celebrations of the “Celtic New Year in Milano“, at Castello Sforzesco.
Again in Lombardy, not far from Milan, the town of Selvino (surroundings of Bergamo) host “Witches in Selvino“, with the entire town celebrating Halloween with scary costumes, bloody drinks and pumpkin lanterns.
