Roasted Chestnuts

In the streets of art cities such as Rome and Florence, the smell of roasting chestnuts will help you to locate the street vendors.

Of course, gastronomic festivals all across Italy offering autumn products also include chestnuts. That happens especially where chestnuts mostly grow, in areas such as Piedmont, Tuscany, Umbria, and Liguria.
