Umbria Jazz Winter, the sister event of the summer jazz festival held in Perugia in July, is taking place in Orvieto from December 28, 2006 through January 1, 2007.
For five days, throughout the day and night, the hilltop town of Orvieto wil offer concerts, jazz lunches, dinners and many cultural events.
Among the key events: the twice-a-day marching parade featuring Funk Off, New Year’s Eve special dinners and the New Year’s Day Mass with gospel singers held in the Orvieto Cathedral. Details are available on the Umbria Jazz Website
