»» British Airways: New Fare System for Italian Routes
British Airways announced a new fare system for Italian routes.
BA will offer all passengers the possibility to book individual legs starting, from all over Italy, from €49 (taxes and additional charges excluded).
Furthermore, British Airways today eliminated all restrictions on tickets by guaranteeing passengers the possibility to change their booking, whatever it may be and to disregard the purchased fare, up until the day prior to departure.
- Meridiana will replace EasyJet flights on Milan - Olbia route until May 1st
National Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC) suspended EasyJet flights on the Milan - Olbia route, on April 21.
In order to meet the needs of consumers who have purchased airline tickets with the EasyJet airline, Meridiana has started to operate additional flights on the Malpensa-Olbia-Malpensa leg, as requested by ENAC and will go on with the schedule until May 1.
On April 20, ENAC had released a statement in which they said that to ensure territorial continuity, links with Sardinia from Milan and Rome are subject to public-service obligations and can be entrusted only to carriers that guarantee operations over the entire course of the year.
