Dolomites are not only the ski resorts, the beauty of the valleys and of the peaks well-known all over the world.

This mountain area offer many cultural itineraries for all those who want to see the Dolomites from an unusual viewpoint.

Many cultures and populations had passed through the Dolomites valleys which due to its  geographical position since the most ancient times was the natural bridge between the Mediterranean world and the Germanic one. 

The signs of such migrations and the their cultural heritages are well preserved in many sites.

The important trade road Roman "Claudia Augusta", that led to Passo Resia via Merano and then  through the Brennero is a witness of the ancient Roman times in this area.
